Cat Sitting Services

I offer once and twice daily visits. For a typical household with 1-3 cats each visit lasts 25-30 minutes and includes feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, giving any medications/supplements, and playtime. I can also water indoor plants, open/close blinds, bring in post/newspaper/packages.

Policies to Note:

Indoor/outdoor cats must remain indoors for the duration of the cat sit.

I will not accept any cat sitting assignments that allow a third party access to your home. This does include friends, relatives and neighbours. This is done for the safety of your home and cats as well as my personal safety.

If your cat is on a medication or supplement that has been prescribed by a veterinarian, that medication/supplement needs to be in its original packaging with the veterinarian's current dosing instructions.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I book services?
Please fill out the Contact Form. Once I receive the form I will email to answer questions and set up the Meet and Greet. I am open to last minute requests and will try to accommodate you and your kitty's needs.

Do you charge for the first meet and greet?

No, I don't charge for the initial meet and greet. I believe that meeting in person in an integral part of building a relationship with clients and their cats. However, if you desire an additional meeting there will be a $20 charge.

What happens if my cat is sick when I am away?

I always follow certain protocol in assessing a sick or injured cat. It is the owner's responsibility to notify me ahead of time of any concerns. In the instance that the cat needs immediate medical care, I will bring your cat to Burlington Emergency Veterinary Service and contact you as soon as possible. If your cat's need of medical attention is not immediate, I will attempt to contact you prior to any other action.

Can I reserve a specific time for my cat's visit?

I do not reserve specific times for visits unless there is a specific medical need. I offer blocks of times in which your cat's visit will be completed. Mornings 7AM-12PM, Anytimes 7AM-8PM, and Evenings 4PM-8PM.

Will you care for fear aggressive/territorial cats?
Yes. I understand that it can be difficult for guardians to find someone willing to take on a cat that is fear aggressive or territorially aggressive. Please be aware that is not always possible for me to directly medicate aggressive cats.
